Kyle was awesome!!!! Skilled, knowledgeable, fun, and patient with newbies(me)We caught our limit in less than 3 hours. He kindly shared delicious crabs from his catch that he cooked for us while cleaning and packaging the catches to ship back to Tampa. 🎣😃🎣

I have had the pleasure of fishing with Kyle several times over the past two years. Both in the ocean and on the river. He is one of the best guides I have ever fished with. Hard working, knowledgable and loves to help make you a better fisherman, when you are on your own. I learned how to cast, hook and land a fish with a centerpin rod & reel (nobody really fishes these in Oregon). Do yourself a favor and book a fishing trip with OAR Angling, you won’t regret it. Kyle went above and beyond for us on his home river this week. He comes highly regarded in the fishing community and going out on his drift boat was a real treat. He is one of the most knowledgeable guides you can find, who takes the time to teach novice anglers multiple different techniques to catch fish.

Our first time booking with Kyle/OAR Angling and it won’t be our last. We will definitely make the tributary trip an annual experience and we are excited to get out on the big pond with him and experience the dory fishery. We couldn’t recommend him more highly - he will put you on the fish and make sure you have fun doing it.

We recently enjoyed another excellent day on the water with Kyle from OAR Angling. I’ve been out with Kyle about 5 times over the past few years and always come back with great memories and plenty of fish! We limited on ling cod (3 each that day), rock fish and got lots of crab! He and his wife Miyles vacuum pack the filets, label everything…you just need a cooler and ice. Dory fishing in PC with OAR is a fantastic experience…highly recommend!!

Kyle and Miyles created such an awesome experience for us. My son and I did a rock fish and crabbing trip and then I brought the rest of the family back for a boat ride. Both trips were so much fun. Kyle did an awesome job helping my son get on the fish. We were new to visiting Oregon, and I ended up booking based on reviews and the feel of their website, and we absolutely made the right choice. They sent us home with our vacuum sealed fish and the cooked crab. Everything from start to finish was top notch, I can’t recommend Oar Angling enough if you are looking for a great time out on the water.

We’ve fished with Kyle twice now, once on the Dory boat and yesterday we did drift boat for steelhead. We had an absolute blast and we can’t wait to fish with you again!
